Hamelin Bay Caravan Park offers a unique environment.
Where else could you stay and enjoy such a varied scope of activities including safe swimming, diving on wrecks and caves off shore, snorkelling, beach fishing, boating, surfing, beach combing and more, all within strolling distance of this family friendly park?
Hamelin Bay is a place where holiday memories are made, where kids can roam and explore to their heart’s delight, whether summer or winter you can catch the night’s dinner from the ocean. You can sit around a camp fire in the evening and spend the days relaxing within this extraordinary environment.
It is located in the beautiful National Park that hugs the incredibly picturesque coastline from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin.
Approximately 15kms north of Augusta and 30kms south of Margaret River, the park is established on a wide sweeping section of a beautiful bay where ships were once harboured in the timber milling days.
The park offers on-site accommodation in a variety of cabins, including reverse cycle air-conditioned beach cottages and cabins with ensuites. Over 150 generously sized caravan sites, powered and unpowered camping sites are also available.
Beach cottages are located just metres from the beautiful beach and have large verandahs on two sides. Perfect for cooking and eating outside on those balmy summer nights. They have 2 bedrooms and a living area with a queen bed in one room and 1 set of bunks in the other, with a trundle bed. They sleep a maximum of 5 people.
PARK CABINS WITH ENSUITES
Park cabins with an ensuite are located amongst the lovely peppermint trees. They have a verandah at the front; great for just sitting and watching the world go by. Park Cabins are a single long room with a queen bed at one end and a bunk bed at the other.
STANDARD PARK CABINS
Standard Park cabins are a single room similar to a caravan. They have a double bed at one end and 2 sets of bunks at the other end of the cabin. They sleep a maximum of 6 people.
High peak: December 1 – January 31. easter, all long weekends except June.
Low peak: February 1 – April 30. October 1 – November 30. June long weekend. April and October school holidays.
Off peak: May 1 – September 30 and July school holidays.

All cabins are supplied with washing up liquid and a tea towel.
You will need to supply your own linen for all on-site accommodation.

Hamelin Bay Caravan Park is located within the Leeuwin Naturalist National Park and CALM regulations apply. These regulations include restrictions on campfires and guidelines for the protection of the environment and wildlife. Unfortunately, cats and dogs are not allowed.
PLEASE NOTE: A new fee structure will be effective from December 14, 2007. The new fees are not yet available but you may contact us in the meantime to discuss.

We have two ablution blocks located in the park which provide hot showers. They are cleaned twice daily during peak season.
Laundry facilities are located behind the ablutions with two coin operated washing machines and one coin operated clothes dryer in each laundry. There are also clothes lines for your convenience. We can provide an iron and ironing board on request.
Change for the washing machines and dryers is available at the kiosk.
